Bridgeport, NJ – Four-time champion, Matt Smith, picked up his second win of the season in besting the Hyper Racing 600cc Micro Sprint field. Lee Nardelli won the 270cc Micro Sprint feature. In Slingshot action, Brett Bieber topped the All Stars while Hannah Kormann earned her first Spirit checkered flag winning the Juniors. Joe Garey, Sr. picked up the win in the second Friday night appearance for the Four Cylinders.
Sonny Tete and Matt Smith brought the 600 field to the green flag with Smith jumping out to the lead which he never relinquished. The battle for second was settled early with Quinn Llewellyn taking the upper hand over Kyle Spence. Julian Rexrode finished fourth with P.J. Williams coming on strong in the closing laps to finish fifth.
Lee Nardelli took advantage of his pole starting spot to lead the entire distance to pick up his first win of the season. Luke Fogg bested Tyler Gent for second with Jake Gent finishing fourth and Cole Wyers fifth.
In the All-Star Slingshot feature Gary Bozowski and Brett Bieber led the field with Bieber grabbing the lead. Bieber led the entire distance with Christopher Laureigh finishing second, Austin Walls third, Charlie Moore and Matthew Lashley completing the top five.
In the Junior Slingshot feature, Kormann battled Anna Strachko for the lead with the duo finishing one two. Waylon Wolf finished third followed by Kenna Evans and current point leader, David Morrison finishing fifth.
Garey, Sr. continued the theme of the night by picking up the win from his pole starting spot. A three-way battle for second between Dominick Antonelli, John Parker and Joe Garey, Jr. was settled with Antonelli finishing second followed by Garey, Jr., John Healy and Brayden Morrison.
