BILL THOMAS MEMORIAL MOVED TO SUNDAY, OCTOBER 28

Bridgeport, NJ – The 8th Annual Bill Thomas Memorial Weekend schedule has been altered due to forecasted storms and rain.  Friday night’s B.T. Qualifiers have been cancelled while moving Saturday’s events a day later to Sunday.  The Saturday divisions will all be invited back for competition on Sunday with racing starting at 5pm.  Times will remain the same for Sunday with gatesopening  at 1pm, hot laps at 4pm and the first heat race at 5pm.

The Ace Overhead Door Wingless 600 and winged 270 Micro Sprints will be joined by the Championship Energy Action Track Slingshots, 600 XCEL Modifieds, and the 4 and 8 cylinders stocks.  “We’re hoping that there isn’t too much rain and we can get this event in on Sunday.  After looking at the radar this morning it doesn’t look good for tonight’s races either,” offered general manager Danny Serrano.  “Bill Thomas was a big part of the 1/4 mile program and this event always draws out some of the best competition.  It also raps up our Poker Series for 2018 which is important to many of the drivers.”
