THOMAS, REINHARDT, PARTITE & WEBSTER REPEAT AT SPIRIT AUTO CENTER SPEEDWAY
Luke Thomas recorded his second win at Spirit Auto Center Speedway in the 600cc Micro Sprint feature. Tyler Reinhardt won his third 270cc Micro Sprint feature while Rich Partite won his third Speedway All-Star Bagel Slingshot feature of the young season. John Webster won his third ServPro Four Cylinder feature in a row and fourth overall.
Nick Havens jumped out to the lead from his pole starting position to lead the 600cc Micro Sprint feature over Jon Keller and Jim Tippin. Thomas was up to fourth by the third lap from his eighth starting position. Thomas grabbed third from Keller on lap four. Thomas passed Tippin and Havens to take the lead after a restart on lap nine. Thomas pulled away from Havens to record his second win of the season. Tippin finished third followed by Jermain Godshall and Matt Smith to round out the top five.
In the non-stop 270cc Micro Sprint feature, Steve Coslop led the opening laps of the feature. Reinhardt passed Coslop for the lead on lap 9 and pulled away to record his third win of the season. Coslop finished second with Billy Gray finishing third, Rich Keller fourth and Ryan Heim, fifth.
Partite passed Steve Schenker prior to the halfway mark to record his third Speedway All-Star Bagels Slingshot win of the season. Schenker finished second followed by Lou Partite and Derek Bell.
Scott Hulmes led the opening two laps of the ServPro Four Cylinder Enduro feature before Art Knapp took command of the event. Webster passed his teammate on lap 9 and went on to record his fourth win of the season. Knapp finished second followed by Keith McKinley, Chris Sammons and Joe Carey.
