Bridgeport, NJ – With the Danny Serrano Skyscraper 250 less than two weeks away, race teams fine tune their set-ups for the season’s biggest events on TW Metals night at the Spirit Auto Center Speedway.
Pat Bealer raced to his first Spirit win of the season in the AC Racing Products 270 Winged Micro Sprints behind the wheel of the Palmucci No. 16C. Hyper Racing 600 Micro Sprints were won by point leader, Quinn Llewellyn. Jon Laureigh raced to win number eleven for the season in the Speedway Entertainment All Star Slingshots while Kylin Evans earned her fifth win of the season in the Junior Slingshots. Joe Garey, Jr. raced to the win in the Insta Signs Plus Four Cylinders.
Bealer drew the pole for the twenty lap 270 main event and from the green to the checkered for the win. Billy Gray made a early departure with mechanical issues. Tyler Grau, Josh Anderson, Joe Dopke and Shea Wills chased the leader for the first half of the race. Grau headed pitside on lap twelve with his own mechanical gremlins. Dopke raced into second on the lap thirteen restart that also saw Dylan DeVault race into fourth.
Bealer took the win over Dopke, Anderson , DeVault and Wills. Corey Andersen finished sixth followed by Jacob Gent, Luke Fogg, James Miller and Mark Landwher.
Dopke and Gray were the winners of the pair of qualifiers.
Cole Niebert led the way in the Hyper Racing 600 feature for the first seven laps until point leader, Quinn Llewellyn raced into the lead. Niebert chased Llewellyn to the checkered for his best finish of the season followed by JT Bierman. Bierman earned his third place finish after besting Matt Smith and PJ Williams in a heated battle.
It was Llewellyn’s fourth win of the season in the Cassidy Painting No. 92 just one week ahead of his first Spirit championship.
The All Star Slingshot feature win was decided on the first lap after a three wide battle between Gage Marrero, Jonathan Laureigh and Charlie Moore. Laureigh took the lead on the start and went the distance for his eleventh win of the season. His brother, Chris Laureigh raced into second following a lap five restart. Charlie Moore won the battle for third followed by Tyler Truex in his first Spirit appearance and Nick Tomlinson. Gage Marrero finished sixth with Gavin Marrero, Dave Morrell, Greg Viel and Emily Suhr completing the top ten at the finish.
Charlie Moore and Jon Laureigh were the winners in the All Star qualifiers.
Kylin Evans led every lap of the Junior Slingshot feature from the pole for her fifth win of 2025. Waylon Wolf mounted a late race challenge for the win but Evans did what she needed to do for the win. Wolf finished second over point leader, Hannah Kormann. David Morrison finished fourth with Khloe Dennis rounding out the top five. Logan Showers finished sixth followed by Carl Taylor, Tommy Morris, Anna Strachko and Kenna Evans.
Kylin Evans and Waylon Wolf were the winners of the pair of heat races.
Joe Garey, Jr. beat his father for the win in the Insta Signs Plus Four Cylinder feature. Joe Garey, Sr. finished second and won the Friday night championship for the Four Cylinder competitors. Kelly Fleming finished third followed by Jon Parker and Rob Weil.
Just one more Fast and Furious Friday night of racing to crown the champions before the Danny Serrano Skyscraper 250 on Friday, September 26.
