SPIRIT CROWNS CHAMPIONS AS WILLIAMS, SWIFT, EVANS, MORRISON & MULLINS RACE TO WINS

Bridgeport, NJ – The final night of points for the Bridgeport quarter mile for the 2026 season saw PJ Williams, Alex Swift, Brett Bieber, Kylin Evans and Carter Mullins race to victory in their respective divisions.

Chris Fenimore was crowned as the 2026 Hyper Racing 600 Champion.  Alex Swift sailed to yet another title in the AC Racing Products Winged 270 micro sprints.  Hannah Korman was crowned as the Speedway Entertainment All Star Slingshot Champion while David Morrison won the title in the Junior Slingshots.  Carter Mullins was Smith Fabrications Stage 1 Champion of 2026.

PJ Williams raced to his third win of the season.  Kyle Spence raced to second from his eleventh place start but could not better his performance by one more position.  Williams led the way to the checkered followed by Spence, Robert Pierce, the 2026 Champion, Chris Fenimore in the Cassidy Painting No. 92. Geordan Marrero followed in fifth at the checkered.

After a rare few weeks of winless racing, Alex Swift and the Blanda No.15 raced to the win in the Wingless 270 feature.  After winning week after week, Swift had several weeks of second or third place finishes while the team worked to resolve a power issue.  It all paid off on Friday night with another win and track championship for Swift and John & Amanda Blanda.

Jonathan John turned in his best performance of the season to finish second followed by Billy Gray, Brett Estep and Nick Walton who was behind the wheel of the Palmucci mount.

The Championship came down to the final race of the season as Brett Bieber led the potential champions in the All Star Main event.  Bieber took the lead on the first lap as the field raced out of turn two.  “The last thing I wanted to do was get involved in their race for the championship,”  Bieber stated, referring to point leader Hannah Kormann and challenger, Charlie Moore.  Moore ended up second, ahead of Kormann who finished third but the Championship belonged to Kormann in her first season as an All Star competitor.  Kormann and Moore have battled to many first and second place finishes this season.   Nick Tomlinson finished fourth followed by Carl Taylor in fifth.  Tyler O’Neil finished sixth followed by Noah Hosking, James Moeller, Joey Turbin and Mike Walsh.

It was the younger driver of the Evans Racing team that picked up the win in the Junior Slingshots.  Kylin Evans held off the challenges of Khloe Dennis for her back-to-back victory.  Newly crowned champion, David Morrison finished third followed by Tommy Morris and James LeBar.  Danny Kurtz finished sixth with Logan Showers, Joseph Osowski, Jack Brey and Pierce Weinberg rounding out the top ten

Carter Mullins picked up the win and the Championship in the Stage 1 Modifieds.  Tyler Truex finished second followed by Paulie Hartwig, Bridgeport’s own, Scott Phillipp and Sportsman driver, PJ Bozowski
