Bridgeport, NJ – The opening night of points produced one first time winner and four winners very familiar with Insta Sign of Delaware Victory Lane. Danny Kurtz earned his first checkered flag in the Speedway Entertainment Junior Slingshots. Chris Fenimore won the Hyper Racing 600cc Micro Sprints. Alex Swift remains undefeated in the AC Racing Products 270cc Micro Sprints for 2026. Jonathan Laureigh won the Speedway Entertainment All Star Slingshots and Joe Garey, Jr. ended the night by winning the feature for the Cassidy Painting Four Cylinders.
Luke Thomas and Shea Wills brought the field to the green flag with Thomas grabbing the early lead. Thomas led the opening five laps before P.J. Williams took command of the event. Fenimore quickly moved into second chasing Williams and completing the pass on lap 11. Fenimore wasted no time in distancing himself from Williams and Thomas who ran in third. Fenimore completed the non-stop event in 5:42.689. Williams crossed the line in second followed by Thomas. James Hendricks finished fourth with Wayne Scott finishing fifth. Logan Dountonville, Sam LaMothe, Shea Wills, Dustin Tyler and Gavin Marrero completing the top ten.
In the 270 feature event, Dylan DeVault grabbed the early led over polesitter, Charlie Chance. DeVault led the first five laps until Swift passed him on a lap five restart. By halfway Swift began pulling away from DeVault and Tyler Grau who raced in third, with Josh Anderson and Dylan Pence completing the top five. The race remained green to the checkered with Swift taking his third win of the season. DeVault, Anderson, Pence and Hunter Nardelli completing the top five. Cole Wyers, Luke Fogg, Billy Gray, Charlie Chance and Hunter Nardelli finishing sixth through tenth.
2025 Point champion, Jonathan Laureigh led the entire 20-lap distance for the Speedway Entertainment All Star Slingshots, leading from his outside pole starting position. Axel LeRoy passed Tyler Truex for second in the race’s final laps. Truex finished third followed by Hannah Kormann and Nick Tomlinson who rounded out the top five. Carl Taylor, Matthew Lashley, Emily Suhr, Kia Matthews and Joey Torchia completed the top ten.
In the 15-lap Speedway Entertainment Junior Slingshot feature, saw Landon McNichol and David Morrison lead the field to the green flag with Morrison jumping out to the early lead. Danny Kurtz raced into third on the start. Kurtz passed McNichol for second before the field could complete the first lap then set sail for Morrison. The caution flew on lap four and on the restart Kurtz passed Morrison for the lead. Kurtz held off the challenge of Morrison on a late race restart for the win. McNichol, Khloe Dennis and Kenna Evans completed the top five. Jack Brey, Danica Weisenberger, Danika Degutis, Kylin Evans and Danica Banks rounded out the top ten.
Joe Garey, Jr. passed Kelly Fleming just before halfway to take the lead in the Cassidy Paintig Four Cylinders. Fleming held on for second with Savanna Hartwig finishing third, followed by Penny Dunn and Dominic Antonell.
