Bridgeport, NJ – Robert Pierce earned his first checkered flag on the 1/4 mile at Bridgeport Motorsports Park in the Hyper Racing Wingless 600cc Micro Sprints while Billy Gray captured his second win in the A.C. Racing Products Winged 270cc Micro Sprints. Hannah Kormann picked up her third win in the Speedway Entertainment All Star division celebrating her father’s, Eric, birthday.
The Micro Midgets were on the schedule as part of their Speedweek. Owen Bull won the 15-lap 300cc Micro Midget while Todd Walls picked up the win in 25-lap A-Main for the 500cc Micro Midgets.
Pierce grabbed the lead of the 600 A-Main at the drop of the green flag. Chris Fenimore, P.J. Williams, Sam LaMothe and Chris Turner chased Pierce from the start. J.T. Bierman passed Turner for fifth on lap three and LaMothe for fourth on lap 9.
At halfway, Pierce had a comfortable lead over Fenimore, Williams, Bierman and LaMothe. As the laps counted down, Bierman passed Williams and then Fenimore to move into second. Bierman began to close the gap on Pierce but the laps ran out. Pierce crossed the line first rfollowed by Bierman, Fenimore, Williams and LaMothe. Geordan Marrero, Turner, Quinn Llewellyn, Gavin Marrero and Gage Marrero finished sixth through tenth.
Billy Gray and Tyler Grau. The race was slowed at the halfway mark. On the restart, Gray took the lead over Bealer. One lap later, Swift passed Bealer for second. Gray led Swift, Beale, Dylan Pence to the finish line. Ian John finished fifth.
Emily Suhr lead the opening laps of the All Star A-Main. Kormann took command of the race on lap five. Kormann led to the checkered flag over Darian Danyluk, Charlie Moore, Nick Tomlinson and Charlie Geibel. Carl Taylor, Mike Walsh, Riley Maguire, James Moeller and Suhr rounded out the top ten.
Walls led the 500cc Micro Midget event from green to checkered. Mason Noble, Bryan Rost, Maddox Wire and Asher Paxton finished fifth. Matt Keifert, Bryon Yrey, J.D. Myers, Justin Care and Chase Frey finished sixth through tenth.
Bull started on the pole and took command of the event at the drop of the green flag. Bull scored his second win on the 1/4 mile this season. Maddie Myers, Hank Lloyd, Addison Noble and Camden Spangle finished second through fifth.
