Bridgeport, NJ – Rain was not in the Friday night forecast but rain it did!  All qualifying and the first two features of the night had been completed when the rains came.  The Hyper Racing EVO Injection 600 Micro Sprint feature was on the track and had completed five laps before they were set to their pit areas.   Tommy Kunsman was the race leader at the end of five laps.
The 600 and 270 Micro Sprint feature will be added to this week’s show in addition to a full program of qualifying and features for the 600 and 270 Micro Sprints as well as the Speedway Entertainment All Star and Junior Slingshots.
PJ Bozowski raced to his second All Star Slingshot win of the season on Cassidy Painting Night at the Spirit Auto Center quarter mile.  Polesitter, Christopher Serran led the first lap of the twenty lap event before Bozowski took the lead on lap two.  He never looked back as he raced away from defending Slingshot Champion, Michael Beckett to capture the victory.
Beckett finished second followed by Chris Laureigh, Kristopher Surran and Brayden Morrison.
Jack Jarvis dominated the Junior Slingshot event for his sixth win of the season.  After a false start, Jarvis grabbed the lead on the complete restart and led every lap to the checkered.  Carter Mullins finished second and Austin Walls took third after both drivers restarted from the rear of the field after a lap three incident.  David Morrison finished fourth.
