BRIDGEPORT, N.J. – For the fifth consecutive year, Spirit Auto Center Speedway will be hosting its biggest event of the season, the Danny Serrano Skyscraper Micro Sprint Spectacular.

This special season ending event is the biggest paying race of the season for the Micro Sprints as the Hyper Racing-Evo Injection wingless 600’s will be racing for $4000 to win the 40-lap feature, while the winged 270’s race for a hefty $3000 to win their 30-lap main event.

The weekend opens on Friday, October 1 with warm-ups for both divisions, followed by 2 timed practice rounds. The fastest timer in each session from both divisions will pick up a qualifying spot for Sunday’s championship feature.  There will also be a 20-lap winner’s classic feature for each class open to any driver who has won a 2021 feature, with the winner picking up the 7th starting position in Sunday’s main event.

On Saturday, October 2, the program will consist of two rounds of qualifying heats for both 600 and 270 micro sprints. Drivers will draw for their starting spots in round one, with the line-up inverted for round two. A passing points system will be used to determine the top 10 drivers in passing points who will then qualifying for Sunday’s main events.  A complete program of heats and feature will be run for the All-Star Slingshots on Saturday as well to complete the final round of the 2021 Poker Series. The night will end with an after party under the pavilion with free food and drinks.

Sunday, October 3 will be the biggest day of the year. A final round of qualifying heats will be run, with line-ups based on Saturday’s passing points, to be followed by B-mains to complete qualifying. The qualifying will be followed by the two Championship features, which will be the fifth and final round of the Poker Series for the micro sprints.
