Bridgeport, NJ – Lee Nardelli raced to the win, taking the victory in the first Battle of the Ports sponsored by Cassidy Painting and All State Auto Glass. A field of thirty 270 Micro Sprints were on hand.

Wayne Scott raced to the win in the Hyper Racing 600s for his first win of the season. Hannah Kormann earned her first win in the Speedway Entertainment All Star Slingshots while Kylin Evans took her turn in victory with the win in the Junior Slingshots.

Passing points were used to determine redraw positions. After going from ninth to the win in his heat race, Nardelli found himself leading the field to the green flag for the 270 main event. Nardelli led every lap of the feature event with defending track champion, Alex Swift hot on his trail. The pole held little advantage with Swift applying pressure throughout the race. “I think we finally had some luck go our way” Nardelli stated.

Trailing Nardelli and Swift to the checkered was Billy Gray, Tyler Grau and Chase Walker. Joe Dopke finished sixth followed by George Nardelli, Dylan Pence, Ian John and Charles Chance.

Wayne Scott raced through the field to capture his first Hyper Racing 600 win of the season by racing Tommy Kunsman to the checkered flag. JT Bierman continued his consistent performance to finish third followed by Chris Fenimore and Zach Curtis. Geordan Marrero finished sixth with Chris Turner, Sam Lamothe, Cory Inglin and Steve Fleetwood rounding out the top ten.

Hannah Kormann raced to her first All Star Slingshot victory by running her own race. Kormann started third. After losing a spot on the original start, she able to race her way back to third which is where she was when the leaders made contact. Jonathan Laureigh was the race leader and was being challenged by Charlie Moore when the two cars came together.

Kormann led the field to the finish over Moore, Carl Taylor, Emily Suhr and Matthew Lashley.

Kylin Evans kept the Evans family in Victory Lane after her sister, Jenna picked up the win one week ago. David Morrison finished second over Kenna Evans, Khloe Dennis and Danica Weinberger.

Ryan McKinney was the winner of the Mod Lites feature over Braydon Dennis and Shane McCarron.
