Bridgeport, NJ – Four drivers raced to their first wins of the season on Hyper Racing EVO Injection night action on the Spirit Auto Center Speedway quarter mile at Bridgeport Motorsports Park.

Kyle Spence became the sixth different winner in the 600 Micro Sprint competition with his first victory of the season.  Lee Nardelli, who holds the record for the most 600 wins on the Spirit Quarter Mile, raced to his third 270 Micro Sprint win of his career in the Huesser No. 20.  Scott Philipp was a first time winner in the All Star Slingshots while Christopher Buffalino won his first Junior Slingshot event.
Kyle Spence drove the Curt and Darlene Matherly’s No. 89 to his first win of the season in a green to checkered effort in the twenty-five lap feature for the 600 Micro Sprints.  Tommy Kunsman quickly took over the runner-up position, racing with former track champion, Matt Smith for the spot.  Kunsman was the race winner on opening night and looked like he had the potential to become the first repeat winner in the 600s this season.
Pat Bealer and Gary Bozowski, both drivers who have won earlier this season, raced inside the top five but weren’t able to get to the leader.
Spence, Kunsman, Smith and Bealer raced in the first four positions throughout the race but the action behind this group of four was intense as cars battled three wide for positions within the top ten.
Spence led the way to the checkered flag over Kunsman, Smith and Bealer with Bubba Hughes taking fifth at the checkered.  Maddie Boyd finished sixth followed by Gary Bozowski, Geordan Marrero, Anthony Tramontana and Angelo Kouroupis completed the top ten in the running order.  It was a career best finish for Hughes and Boyd.
The 270 Micro Sprint Feature was a tale of two brothers as polesitter, George Nardelli grabbed the lead at the start of the twenty lap feature.  By the time lap one was completed, George’s brother, Lee was challenging for the lead.  Lee Nardelli went to the inside of turn two to grab the lead on lap three.  Unfortunately, the one-two brother race came to an end for George on lap six as he slowed with mechanical issues.
Billy Gray moved into second on the restart and chased Nardelli around the quarter mile through halfway followed by Alex Swift, Nick Walton and Tyler Grau.
Swift, who is the only repeat winner in this division so far this season, moved into second following a lap fourteen restart but Nardelli had the field covered as he drove to the win over Swift, Gray, Walton and Grau.  Tommy Rinck rebounded from a tough night at the track to finish sixth over Dom Pomponi, Jimmy Wagner, Tom Landwher, and John Wagner, Jr.
Scott Phillip picked up his first win in the All Star Slingshots when he took the lead from Amanda Angstadt on lap three of the feature event.  Phillip drove the rest of the way to the checkered without a challenge followed by Angstadt, Michael Beckett, PJ Bozowski and Ryan Davey.
There was a new face in the Weaknecht Archery Victory Lane in the Junior Slingshots as Christopher Buffalino raced to his first win over Cody Morrision.
Action returns to the Spirit Auto Center quarter mile on Friday, June 17th for a regular show featuring the Hyper Racing/EVO Injection 600 Micro Sprints, the winged 270 Micro Sprints, the All Star Slingshots and the Junior Slingshots.  One week later, the Poker Series comes to Friday night action for the first time.
