Bridgeport, NJ – Day two of the 2021 Danny Serrano Skyscraper Spectacular sponsored by Cassidy Painting produced a lot of great racing that translated into ten more positions being filled in each of the two main events on Sunday.

Passing points were used to determine the top ten drivers in both the Hyper Racing Evo Injection 600s and 270 Micro Sprints after two sets of heats were run for each division. Michael Nolf was the top point man in the 600s which earned him a redraw spot in the top six for Sunday’s main event. Trailing Nolf in passing points were Brandon Pavel, last year’s Skyscraper winner, Damon Paul, Pat Bealer, Billy Koch, Kole Kirkman, Briggs Danner, Eddie Strada, Alex Bright and Joey Amantea. Two sets of seven heats were run to accommodate the seventy-three cars that were fighting for starting spots in Sunday’s main event.

Tyler Reinhardt was the high point man in the 270s followed by Jason Swavely, Lee Reinhardt, Pete Skias, Alex Swift, Lee Nardelli, Nick Walton, Jacob Hendershot, Glenn Macomber, Nick Skias and Matt Thompson. The 270s competed in two sets of three heat races.

The All Star Slingshots were part of Saturday’s program. Michael Beckett raced to his fourth win of the season over Brett Bieber, who started at the rear of the field after mechanical issues sidelined from qualifying, finished second followed by Dave Carraghan, 2021 All Star Slingshot Champion, Amanda Angstadt and Shelby McLaughlin who was doing double duty this weekend as she competed in the 600 Micro Sprint qualifying as well.

Beckett won the race but it was runner-up Bieber who captured the 2021 All Star Slingshot Poker Series title.
